Best Custodian Award
Asset managers and asset owners are invited to rate their custodians through a survey. Respondents are asked to rate the overall performance of their custodians. They are also invited to rate their custodians across 17 service categories, which were then broken down into sub-categories. Respondents are asked to rate their custodians from 1 (very poor) to 5 (flawless) in each of the sub-categories. The service categories included: settlement, corporate actions, income collections, cash management, reporting, client services, relationship management, network, foreign exchange services, derivatives, industry knowledge, execution services, tax services, performance measurement, fund admin, alternatives, and COVID crisis management. Performance will be judged over the period covering January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
Asset managers are invited to rate their custodians, each asset manager is allowed to rate from 1 to 3 custodians.
