Company History
Etihad Atheeb Telecom Company acquired its license from the Communication and Information Technology Commission (CITC) on 2/5/1428 to provide advanced fixed line services in the Kingdom which includes International Gateway and broad band services. The Company founding shareholders include Atheeb Trading Company, Saudi Internet Ltd Co., Atheeb Ltd. Co. for Computer and Communication, Atheeb Maintenance and Service Co. Ltd., Al-Nahla Trading Company, Batelco of Bahrain, and Traco Company with a capital of 1 billion Saudi Riyals. Etihad Atheeb Telecom Company also acquired a 3.5GHz frequency spectrum across 13 regional divisions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia valued at 522.9 million Saudi Riyals in addition to a license for advanced fixed telephone lines amounting up to 5 million Saudi Riyals.
