The activities of the company and its branches are embodied in pursuing and executing the following objectives: managing its branches and affiliated companies, if any, or participating in the management of other companies in which it holds shares, while providing the necessary support to them. The company also operates in the field of real estate activities, including the management and leasing of owned or rented properties, whether residential or non-residential, in addition to real estate development, real estate investments, real estate brokerage, property management, real estate auctions, facility management, real estate marketing and advertising, and real estate analysis. The company conducts its activities in accordance with the applicable regulations and laws, and after obtaining the necessary licenses from the relevant authorities when required.

Company History

Saudi Darab Investment Company is a listed Saudi public joint-stock company. The license for the company''s establishment was issued pursuant to Decision No. 600 of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce, dated 05/06/1413 AH corresponding to 30/11/1992 AD, with Commercial Register No. 5800005960 issued on 19/07/1413 AH corresponding to 12/01/1993 AD. On 05/06/1413 AH corresponding to 30/11/1992 AD, the company''s shares were listed on the market with 1,500,000 ordinary shares at a nominal value of SAR 100 each, and a capital of SAR 150,000,000. On 06/08/1438 AH corresponding to 02/05/2017 AD, the Extraordinary General Assembly approved an increase in the company''s capital to SAR 295,000,000, comprising 29,500,000 ordinary shares at a nominal value of SAR 10 each, for the purpose of acquiring Elegant Centers Limited Company. On the same date, the Assembly approved a reduction in capital from SAR 295,000,000 29,500,000 shares to SAR 177,000,000, thereby reducing the number of shares to 17,700,000 ordinary shares at a nominal value of SAR 10 each. On 20/07/1443 AH corresponding to 21/02/2022 AD, the Extraordinary General Assembly approved an increase in capital from SAR 177,000,000 17,700,000 ordinary shares to SAR 297,000,000 29,700,000 ordinary shares, through the issuance of priority rights shares with a total value of SAR 120,000,000. Consequently, the capital after the increase became SAR 297,000,000, divided into 29,700,000 ordinary shares at a nominal value of SAR 10 each. On 16/12/1444 AH corresponding to 04/07/2023 AD, the Extraordinary General Assembly approved the splitting of the share''s nominal value from SAR 10 to SAR 0.10 ten halalas, resulting in an increase in the number of shares to 2,970,000,000 ordinary shares, without any change to the capital. On December 19, 2024 AD, the Extraordinary General Assembly third meeting convened and approved a reduction in capital from SAR 297,000,000 2,970,000,000 ordinary shares to SAR 218,295,000 2,182,950,000 ordinary shares at a nominal value of SAR 0.10 ten halalas each. On 10/10/1446 AH corresponding to 08/04/2025 AD, the Extraordinary General Assembly third meeting approved the amendment of the nominal value from SAR 0.10 to SAR 1, resulting in the number of shares becoming 218,295,000 shares. It also approved the change of the company''s name to Saudi Darab Investment Company. On July 14, 2025 AD, the company''s name was officially updated on the Saudi Stock Exchange Tadawul website to the new name Saudi Darab.
