| Announcement Detail | Almunajm Foods Company announces that a temporary suspension has been imposed by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) on one of its poultry products categories that the company imports from one of the countries as a result of bird flu discovered in some of its territories, within the framework of the periodic and continuous review by the SFDA of new developments related to food safety. Accordingly, the company has communicated with the SFDA, on Sunday 28Â Shawwal 1443H corresponding to 29 May 2022, to clarify the procedures adopted by the supplier to ensure the products safety, in accordance with the standards applied in the food industry. The company also assures that the supplier has provided the required documents declaring the safety of said products, and accordingly the SFDA has been kindly requested to lift the temporary suspension. The company would like to clarify to its valued shareholders that it has a suffient stock of poultry products covering several weeks, and the financial impact of this event cannot be quantified presently as it depends to the date at which this temporary suspension might be lifted .
