Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Co. announces: the resignation of Mr. Martin Potkins, as Non-Executive Board Member, representing the foreign shareholder, Bupa Investments Overseas Limited (BIOL), effective Saturday 14 Rajab 1439H, corresponding 31 March 2018G, the resignation dated 1 Jumada Al-Awwal 1439H, corresponding 18 January 2018G, and having been accepted by the Board on 5 Jumada Al-Awwal 1439H, corresponding 22 January 2018G, due to BIOL wanting to change its Board member representative, and;
In addition, the appointment of Mr. Simeon Preston, as Non-Executive Board Member, representing the foreign shareholder, BIOL, effective Sunday 15 Rajab 1439H, corresponding 1 April 2018G, as approved by the Board on 5 Jumada Al-Awwal 1439H, corresponding 22 January 2018G, and;
That the new Board member appointment is subject to the approval of the public shareholders in the next General Assembly meeting and which will be advised at a later date, and;
That Mr. Simeon Preston is the Chief Executive Officer for the Bupa International Markets division, based in London, England, the United Kingdom, and has an MBA from the INSEAD Business School, a Master of Science in Transportation Policy and Planning (University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England), a Master of Science in Geographical Information Systems (University of Leicester, England) and a Bachelor degree in Geography (London School of Economics, England).
