• The Capital Market Authority Approves Thimar Development Holding Company’s Request to Reduce its Capital

  The CMA has issued its resolution approving Thimar Development Holding Company’s request to reduce its capital from SAR (250,000,000) to SAR (65,000,000), thus reducing the number of shares from (25,000,000) shares to (6,500,000) shares. This approval is conditional on the Company’s extraordinary general assembly approval and completion of the necessary procedures in relation to the applicable regulations. The Company will publish a disclosure document to its shareholders related to the proposed method of capital reduction and the expected effect of such reduction within sufficient time prior to the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting to enable shareholders to vote on the capital decrease. The CMA’s approval of a particular company’s application to reduce its capital should never be viewed as an endorsement of the feasibility of the capital decrease. The CMA’s approval of a company’s application to reduce its capital merely means that the regulatory requirements as per the Capital Market Law and its Implementing Regulations have been met.

  Bank Aljazira EGM held on Wednesday 24/04/2024G has approved the capital increase via bonus shares. Thus, the fluctuation limits on Thursday 25/04/2024G for Bank Aljazira will be based on a share price of SAR 16.18 and the outstanding orders will be canceled. Furthermore, the Securities Depository Center (Edaa) will deposit the additional shares into the investor’s portfolios by Monday 29/04/2024G.

  Saudi Exchange has issued its resolution approving the listing request of the debt instruments issued by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia submitted by the Ministry of Finance as per the Listing Rules with a total value of (5,160,836,000) SAR detailed as follow: 1- Issuance number 2024-04-07 with a total value of 1,647,530,000 SAR. 2- Issuance number 2024-04-12 with a total value of 3,513,306,000 SAR. Accordingly, listing and trading the government debt instruments shall commence starting from Monday 2024-04-29.
