Company History
Sumou Real Estate Company is a public joint stock company was established as a limited liability company with share capital of 500000 five hundred thousand Saudi Riyal divided into 1000 thousand shares of equal value the value of each is 500 Five hundred Saudi Riyal all of these shares are ordinary cash shares distributed between Sumou Holding Company by 50% and Ayedh Farhan Mubarak Al Saad AlQahtani by 50% and pursuant to partners resolution certified by Notary in charge at chamber of commerce under issue 63 of 1429H on 11/08/1439H corresponding to 12/08/2008 shares were redistributed among the two partners whereby the ownership percentage of the first partner Sumou Holding Company becomes 95% and the second partner Ayedh Farhan Mubarak Al Saad AlQahtani 5% According to the Ministerial Resolutions No Q / 38 dated 04/02/1431H corresponding to 19/01/2010 the company was converted into a closed joint stock company with the exit of partner Ayedh Farhan bin Mubarak Al Saad Al Qahtani and the entry of new partners all of them are legal persons and the capital was increased after transferring the stocks into shares of 10 Riyal per share so that the capital becomes 150000000 SR one hundred and fifty million Saudi Riyal divided into 15000000 fifteen million ordinary shares with a nominal value of 10 ten Saudi Riyal per share by capitalizing 140000000 one hundred and forty million Riyal from the retained earnings and transferring an amount of 9500000 nine million five hundred thousand Saudi Riyal from the shareholders currents account On 04/02/1431H corresponding to 19/01/2010 the company was registered in the joint-stock companies Registration under the Commercial Registration Certificate No. 2051034841 dated 03/06/1428H corresponding to 18/06/2007 On 26/01/1439H corresponding to 16/10/2017 the General Assembly agreed to increase the Capital so that the current capital of the company becomes 250000000 two hundred and fifty million Saudi Riyal and the increase was covered by capitalization in an amount of 73456645 seventy three million four hundred and fifty six thousand six hundred and forty five Saudi Riyal from the retained earnings and an amount of 26543355 twenty six million five hundred and forty three thousand three hundred and fifty five Saudi Riyal from the statutory reserve
