تعد الشركة السعودية لصناعة الورق من الشركات الرائدة في صناعة الورق الصحي في الوطن العربي و يتمثل نشاطها في إنتاج ورق صحي ذو جودة عالية لتلبية احتياجات الأسواق المحلية والخارجية.كما وأن نشاطها يعود بفائدة كبيرة على البيئة والمجتمع من خلال اهتمامها بإعادة تدوير الورق المستعمل وخفض اعتمادها على اللب المستورد والمعتمد في تصنيعه على أشجار الغابات. تلتزم الشركة بتطوير أنشطتها بشكل متكامل وتنمية قدراتها الصناعية عن طريق ترابط أنشطة تدوير و تصنيع و تحويل الورق حيث يسهم هذا الترابط في تطوير أداء المجموعة و تنوع مصادر عوائدها.
Company History
بدأت الشركة السعودية لصناعة الورق كفرع لمؤسسة فردية عام 1989 م وبدأت نشاطها بتصنيع لفات الورق الكبيرة عام 1991م . في سنة 1992 تم تركيب اول ماكينة بطاقة إنتاجية 16000 طن سنويا. وفي عام 1994 تم تركيب وحدة إزالة الأحبار لتنظيف الورق المستخدم وتحويلة إلى مادة خام لصالح الشركة. في سنة 1995، وتم تركيب الماكينة الثانية بطاقة 24000 طن سنويا في سنة 2001 من ثم تم إضافة المكينة الثالثة بطاقة 30000 طن سنوي. وفي عام 2009 تم اضافة الماكينة الرابعة بطاقة 55000 طن في السنة. وفي عام 2014 تم إعادة بناء خط الإنتاج الأول بتصبح طاقته الإنتاجية 28000 طن في السنة لتصل الطاقة الإنتاجية الإجمالية 137000 طن في السنة. تأسست الشركة السعودية لاعادة تدوير الورق في عام 2002، وهي تقوم بجمع وفرز الورق لإستخدامه في وحدة إزالة الأحبار وبيعه الى مصانع لفات الورق الأخرى. تأسست الشركة السعودية لتحويل الورق في سنة 2003 لإنتاج تشكيلة متنوعة منتجات الورق الإستهلاكية.
