| Introduction | Further to what was announced before that we received letters from ZATCA amending our zakat returns of 2019 and 2020, the company objected to these amendments and appealed against them before the General Secretary of Tax Committees (GSTC). In this regard, the company found that it received from zakat consultant of the company decisions from the First Circuit for Adjudication of Income Tax Violations and Disputes (First Circuit) rejecting the objection of the company to the decisions of ZATCA regarding the assessment subject of the prosecution. According to these decisions the company is having the right to appeal against these decisions within thirty days from the day next to the date of receiving the subject decision. Accordingly, the company will appeal against the said decisions within the statutory period. |
