After studying the experiences of a number of international capital markets, and research in ways to promote fair competition, and to highlight best practices among participants in the Saudi capital market, the Saudi Stock Exchange (TADAWUL) is looking forward to offer a range of annual awards to enhance best practices in this field and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP), Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The first phase of the awards in 2020 will focus on brokers, custodians, financial advisors and listed companies. Tadawul will of course consider introducing awards that cater to additional market participants to keep pace with continuous improvements in the Saudi capital market.
Tadawul will cooperate with its partners, CFA Society Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA), to provide awards according to transparent and clear criteria that will be disseminated to all market participants. Participants will be evaluated by independent committees, where the results of the questionnaires will be presented to a selected committee of respected industry professionals who will assess each submission and select the winner in each category.
