The company''s main activity is car and vehicle rental services long-term and short-term for large corporates and companies as it provides long- and short-term leasing services to companies and corporates through a variety of cars and vehicles that suit all categories and various business sectors. The company also provides multiple options in leasing services including leasing vehicles without a driver and leasing vehicles with a driver. In addition to the activity of renting cars and vehicles the company sells new cars as well as used cars after the end of their service life.
Company History
Riyal Investment & Development Company started its activity as sole proprietorship under the name Riyal Foundation for Investment & Development Commercial Registration No. 2050024818 issued in Dammam on 17081413H corresponding to 09021993G with capital of 10000 SAR. According to the AoA issued on 06091431H corresponding to 16082010G the owner of the foundation relinquished the foundation and its branches to Tariq AlQahtani Salah AlQahtani Haifa AlSuqair Shams AlQahtani Mai AlQahtani Duha AlQahtani and AbdulHadi Abdullah AlQahtani and Sons Company. The Corporation and its branches were also converted into a limited liability company while keeping the CR number as it is. The net assets of the Corporation were evaluated at 2000000 SAR and based on the assessment of the assets the company capital was modified so that it became 2000000 SAR divided into 2000 shares the value of each share 1000 SAR. On 03041443H corresponding to 08112021G the partners decided to increase the capital to 80000000 SAR by capitalizing the amount of 67976285 SAR from the balance of retained earnings. In addition to transferring cash shares in the amount of 9023715 SAR from the partners contribution account and transferring an amount of 1000000 SAR from the balance of the legal reserve. On 17091443H corresponding to 18042022G the partners decided to waive part of their shares in the amount of 2789773 shares in favor of new partners who numbered 80 partners. Pursuant to the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce issued No. 1025 and dated 08111443H corresponding to 07062022G the company was converted into a closed joint stock company with a capital of 80000000 SAR. The current capital of the company is 80000000 SAR divided into 8000000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 10 SAR. Each share and all are ordinary shares identical in all respects and fully paid up.
