نسيج شركة سعودية رائدة تعمـل على تمكين التحول الرقمي في إدارة التعلم والأصول المعرفية، من خلال تطوير الحلول والخدمات التي تدفع بوتيرة التحول الرقمي لدى عملائها، مع تخفيف العبء التقني عليهم، وبما يمكنهم من تركيـز جهودهم ومواردهم على تحقيق أهدافهم الإستراتيجية. تخدم نسيج قطاعات التعليم، والمكتبات والمراكز الثقافية، والجهات الحكومية والشركات، وتوفر لهم حلول تحول رقمي متكاملة تسخر أحدث التقنيات، وأفضل الممارسات في إدارة التعلم والأصول المعرفية. نشأت شركة نسيج للاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات في العام 1989م كمؤسسة فردية في مدينة الرياض، وتحولت في العام 1995م إلى شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة باسم شركة النظم العربية المتطورة، وبرأسمال قدره مليون 1,000,000 ريال سعودي مقسماً الى ألف 1,000 حصة بقيمة ألف 1,000 ريال سعودي للحصة الواحدة. أطلقت الشركة في العام 1997 شبكة نسيج المعلوماتية أول شبكة معلومات في المنطقة، كما أطلقت في نفس العام بوابة نسيج على شبكة الانترنت كأحد أوائل الخدمات المعلوماتية المحترفة على شبكة الانترنت، وقد لاقت كلا الخدمتين الرائدتين اقبالا وصدى كبيرا. وفي العام 1431 الموافق 2009 تم رفع رأسمال الشركة إلى عشرة ملايين 10,000,000 ريال سعودي مقسم إلى عشرة آلاف 10,000 حصة، قيمة كل حصة ألف 1,000 ريال سعودي. وفي العام 2011 أطلقت الشركة خط حلول التحول الرقمي في إدارة التعلم. وفي العام 1441 الموافق 2020 تم تعديل اسم الشركة من شركة النظم العربية المتطورة إلى شركة نسيج للاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات، وفي 1443 الموافق 2021 قرر الشركاء تحويل الشركة من شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة إلى شركة مساهمة مقفلة بما لها من حقوق وما عليها من التزامات ورفع رأسمالها إلى خمسون مليون 50,000,000 ريال سعودي مقسم الى خمسة ملايين 5,000,000 سهماً إسمياً عادياً بقيمة عشرة 10 ريالات سعودية للسهم الواحد، وتمّ الاكتتاب في كامل عدد الأسهم المكونة لرأس المال وتسديد قيمتها بالكامل.
