أسست شركة إتحاد مصانع الأسلاك ( أسلاك ) كشركة ذات مسئولية محدودة بسجل تجاري رقم 1010079195 بتاريخ 20/3/1411هـ الموافق 10/10/1990م وفي عام 1426هـ الموافق 2007 م تم دمج مجموعة من الشركات والمؤسسات ذات الخبرة الواسعة في مجال صناعة الأسلاك ، ثم تحولت أسلاك الى شركة مساهمة سعودية بموجب القرار الوزاري رقم ( 45/ق ) وتاريخ 12/2/1429 هـ الموافق 20/2/2008 م ، والشركة مملوكة بالكامل للقطاع الخاص
