تأسست شركة دار الأركان بموجب سجل تجاري رقم 1010160195 بتاريخ 16/4/1421هـ (18/7/2000م) وقد تم تحويل الشركة إلى شركة مساهمة بموجب القرار الوزاري رقم 1021 بتاريخ 10/6/1426هـ (17/7/2005م) برأس مال قدره 5,400 مليون ريال سعودي مقسم إلى 540 مليون سهم بقيمة إسميَة قدرها 10 ريال سعودي للسهم الواحد
