يتمثل نشاط الشركة بالمعلومات والاتصالات والتعليم والفنون والترفيه والتسلية، والذي يتماشى مع الأنشطة الفعلية الرئيسية للمجموعة. كما يشمل السجل التجاري للشركة أنشطة البث التلفزيوني، وأنشطة التلفزيون، وأنشطة برمجة اشتراك القنوات وتشغيل خدمة الربط العلوي بالأقمار الصناعية لأغراض توزيع المحتوى المرئي والمسموع، وتشغيل منصة توزيع وإدارة قنوات فضائية عبر أجهزة الاستقبال الفضائي وتوزيع البث المباشر عبر الأقمار الصناعية باستخدام نظام قاس.
Company History
يمتد تاريخ مجموعة إم بي سي إلى عام 1991م عند البدء بعملياتها في مدينة لندن في المملكة المتحدة وإطلاق أول قناة فضائية عربية خاصة عبر الأقمار، ومن ثم توسّعت الشركة بأعمالها وأصبح لديها وجود بارز في العديد من الدول العربية، بما في ذلك المملكة ودولة الامارات العربية المتحدة ولبنان وسوريا والأردن والعراق ومصر.
