الأنشطة الأساسية للشركة السعودية للنقل الجماعي(سابتكو) تتمثل في نقل الركاب بالحافلات على شبكة الطرق العامة داخل المدن وفيما بينها وخارج المملكة العربية السعودية ونقل الطرود غير البريدية ونقل وترحيل البضائع والمهمات والنقل المدرسي ونقل المعلمات وتأجير السيارات والأجرة الخاصة وتشغيل وصيانة القطارات والمترو والسيارات والشاحنات وتنظيم الرحلات السياحية ونقل المعتمرين والزوار داخل وخارج المملكة العربية السعودية واستيراد قطع الغيار والمنظفات الكيميائية للمركبات.
Company History
الشركة السعودية للنقل الجماعي(سابتكو)، شركة مساهمة سعودية تأسست بموجب المرسوم الملكي رقم م/11 بتاريخ 7 ربيع الأول 1399هـ (الموافق 5 فبراير 1979) ، وحدد النظام الأساسي للشركة رأسمالها بـ (1,000,000,000) ألف مليون ريال سعودي تم زيادته إلى (1,250,000,000) ألف ومائتين وخمسون مليون ريال سعودي خلال عام 2007م ، ويتم تداول أسهمها في سوق الأسهم السعودية.حيث صدر المرسوم الملكي رقم (م/48) وتاريخ 22 ذي الحجة 1399هـ (الموافق 12 نوفمبر 1979)، بمنح سابتكو عقد امتياز نقل الركاب بالحافلات على شبكة الطرق العامة بالمملكة داخل المدن وفيما بينها لمدة خمس عشرة سنة هجرية ، وقد تم تجديده وتمديده عدة مرات كان آخره بتاريخ 29 ذي الحجة 1436(الموافق 12 أكتوبر 2015).
