Saudi Exchange – Annual Statistical Report 2024

At the end of the year 2024 Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at a level of 12,036.50 point compared to 11,967.39 point for the previous year, gained 69.11 point 0.58%. The highest close level for the index (TASI) during the year (2024) was 12,835.65 point as on 21st of March. 

The total Market Capitalization at the end of the year 2024 reached SAR 10,200.24 billion (US$ 2,720.06 billion), decreased by 9.41% compared to the end of the previous year.

The total Value of Shares Traded for the year 2024 reached SAR 1,862.33 billion (US$ 496.62 billion) compared to SAR 1,333.12 billion (US$ 355.50 billion) for the previous year, increased by 39.70%.

The total Number of Trades executed during the year 2024 reached 128.57 million compared to 94.02 million trades for the previous year, increased by 36.76%. 

The Volume Traded* for the year 2024 reached 99.66 billion shares compared to 82.60 billion shares traded during the previous year, increased by 20.65%.

*Historical prices & volume traded data were adjusted to account for all corporate actions during the year.

* Number of trading days during 2024 were 250 days, against 249 trading days during 2023.
