| Announcement Detail | Saudi Ceramics Company announces that a fire occurred at one of the electrical substations supplying one of the Company’s tile production lines at its tile factories located in the Second Industrial City in Riyadh, on the evening of Tuesday, 18 August 2026 (5 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1448H). The incident resulted in a disruption to the production operations of the line connected to the affected substation. The fire was fully brought under control by the Civil Defense teams. The Company confirms that, thankfully, the incident resulted in no injuries or loss of life. The Company confirms that it has comprehensive insurance coverage for the affected property and facilities. The Company is currently coordinating with the relevant parties to assess the damage and evaluate the technical, operational, and financial impact of the incident. The Company will disclose any material financial impact or other material developments as soon as the necessary information becomes available. The Company would also like to note that it is currently carrying out the necessary technical works and safety procedures. The expected date for the gradual resumption of production operations at the affected line will be announced once the required assessments and works have been completed. Saudi Ceramics Company extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the relevant authorities and Civil Defense teams for their prompt response and efforts in bringing the fire under control and mitigating its impact. |
